So it's cold outside folks. Way too cold for this Carolina native. I've been sucking down hot coffee all day trying to keep the cold from creeping into my bones but it just isn't working. So I turned to a true, time tested, hot beverage that really does work. It's called Tibetan Butter Tea. Tibetan monks drink this stuff all the time and believe me, this will warm you up. This is simple to make, and if you like the taste of tea and butter, then you're in for a treat. As a matter of fact, I bet Paula Dean would overdose on this if she ever tried it. This is a drink that you sip hot. The hotter the better. The butter and milk provide a warming fat that when it hits the tummy, you get some glowing warmth that spreads nicely and tells the cold in your bones to go find someone else to bother. It is a taste us westerners must adjust to, but if you're a little patient, and give this a chance, you will be pleased. For more information, do a simple Google.
